Shawnee Smith is an American actress, singer and musician. She was born on July 3rd, 1970 and stands at 5'3". Smith's most famous roles are in the roles of Amanda Young and Linda on the CBS sitcom Becker. Smith once fronted the metal band Fydolla Ho, with whom she performed in throughout the United States and the United Kingdom as well as being a member of Smith & Pyle the desert country-rock band with actress Missi Pyle. Shawnee Smith was born in Orangeburg South Carolina the second daughter of Patricia who was an oncology nurse and Jim Smith a financial planner and former US Air Force pilot. When she was a young girl, she and her family moved to South Carolina (now Van Nuys) to California. When she was two her parents got divorced. At eight, her mother married her second time. She was a student at Ranchito Avenue Elementary School in Panorama City Los Angeles and Madison Jr. High in North Hollywood. North Hollywood High School is situated at North Hollywood California.
