Alicia Witt was a musician right from the beginning of her screen career although she's more known as an actor, composer, musician or singer. Following a stint as primarily piano player, she came out with an eponymous EP in 2009 in which she showcased her obvious debt to such artists as Elton John and Billy Joel with a powerful, warm voice to match the music. Revisionary History (produced by Ben Folds) was her first studio album in 2015. The Conduit is her second album to be released in 2021 and marks her first time as a producer.
